Land Tenure & Gender at COP17

The first UNCCD CSO Panel’s on-line thematic session, which is part of the roadmap for civil society preparation to the UNCCD COP17, invited experts to discuss perspectives on Land Tenure and Gender. Listen to Ilse Pelkmans from TMG Think Tank for Sustainability in Berlin, Germany and Beth Roberts, the Director of Landesa’s Center for Women’s Land Rights in Seattle, Washington as they unpack the current status of land tenure and gender in the context of what is expected to happen at COP17. The workshop is part of the GEF funded ‘Strengthening Civil Society Role in Achieving Land Degradation Neutrality’ (CS4LDN) project, implemented by IUCN, Both ENDS and Drynet.
