FARN
Argentina

FARN are a non-governmental, non-profit and non-partisan organization, founded in 1985.
Our main objective is to promote sustainable development through politics, law and the institutional organization of society. The recipients of our work are, mainly, the public and private decision-makers.
We work to promote sustainable development and democratic and participatory citizenship, promoting access to public information and justice. We do this through political, institutional and social advocacy in the public environmental agenda. The participation of citizens is one of the main axes of FARN’s work, because they are the ones who must comply with and enforce laws, agree on policies and allocate resources to prevent environmental problems.
The different activities of the Foundation are financed thanks to the contribution of private donors (individuals, companies, foreign and national foundations), as well as national and international public bodies.
