SUMMARY:Lobbying, Advocacy and Policy
DESCRIPTION:\n \nThis webinar explored the role of lobbying and advocacy in influencing policy and decision-making processes related to land restoration and sustainable land management. As the second session in the CS4LDN Communications Webinar Series 2026, participants were introduced to key advocacy concepts and practical approaches for engaging policymakers, decision-makers and other stakeholders. Through presentations and real-world examples, the session examined coalition building, stakeholder engagement and advocacy strategies at local, national and international levels. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how advocacy and lobbying can support positive policy change and strengthen civil society engagement in land governance processes. The webinar concluded with an interactive discussion and Q&A session, providing an opportunity to reflect on how these approaches can be applied in different contexts and advocacy efforts.\n \n
